Biography
Suzette Martinez Standring has written newspaper columns for more than two decades and spent 13 years in national syndication. A past president and former executive director of the National Society of Newspaper Columnists, she is the author of The Art of Column Writing and The Art of Opinion Writing, award-winning guidebooks used in journalism and writing courses. She has also hosted and produced a television program about writing and regularly teaches workshops on voice, opinion, storytelling and creative confidence.
